Articles from Pastor Ovadal
This Silence Is Shameful.
I begin this article
by posing a "what if" scenario to my fellow Christians. What
if a powerful, international sodomite organization purchased over one hundred
acres of land near La Crosse, Wisconsin and spent multi-millions constructing a
lavish building complex on that land? What if this complex was to be
a mecca for up to 200,000 sodomites a year who would come from around the
world to commit perverted acts there? Finally, what if a grand dedication
day for the sodomite shrine, attended by high-profile sodomite leaders and
celebrities, was highly publicized in the mainstream media? more

Beware of Mike Huckabee
A Deadly Confluence of Errors
Mr. Huckabee is a product of a neo-evangelical church and pro-family
movement which is increasingly manifesting the ill effects of neo-evangelical
doctrinal error and spiritual fornication with that woman who rides the beast,
the Roman Catholic Church.

Reclaiming
America for Whom?
An article by Pastor Ralph Ovadal and letter
to Dr. D. James Kennedy
Dr. Kennedy's conference . . . is nothing less than a
bold assault upon the gospel and the purity of Christ's bride, the church.
Moreover, when just the bare facts about the RAC conference are
considered, one could almost be led to wonder if Kennedy is purposely
"pushing the envelope" to see how open and blatant he can be in
his ecumenical sin! Sadly, he is no doubt safe enough in this era of the
teflon-coated evangelical celebrities. . . .
A Little More Context
Apparently, my article "Reclaiming America for
Whom?" upset quite a few evangelical fans of D. James Kennedy
and his Reclaiming America for Christ conference. .
. . For those blind fans of their blind
leaders, below you will find a couple of pictures of RAC headline speaker
Pavone worshiping a Romanist wafer in front of an abominable, pagan idol
said to be our Lord on the cross.
A
Response to ECT Light
Today,
Tuesday, November 28, a coalition of pro-family/pro-life leaders issued a
press release in response to Pastor Rick Warren's decision to have U.S.
Senator Barack Obama speak at the Global Summit on AIDS being hosted in
Warren
's Saddleback Church.
The very language of that document is a witness against those Protestants
who have signed it.
Where
Are the Bereans Today?
Dr. Kennedy is no doubt a very
influential, powerful person, but he is not using his position and stature
to "earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the
saints"—quite the opposite.
Catholic
Answers of Another Kind!
Over the past
few days, we have received an avalanche of e-mails since Karl Keating of
Catholic Answers wrote about a recent article of mine titled
"Romanizing America through Illegal Immigration." I thought it
might be worthwhile for some of you if I would share a few excerpts from a
few e-mails.
Still
Waiting
for Reformation
Rome continues to make converts of Protestants corrupted by
ecumenical ministry. The National Catholic Register's latest
edition contains two articles trumpeting the news that Operation Rescue
founder Randall Terry is the latest Protestant pro-life activist to join
the Roman Catholic Church.
Reynolds, Ovadal, and the Pope
I am grateful that the Lord has seen fit
to use Charlie Sykes, a true hate-monger, and an arrogant one at that, to
challenge the Church of Jesus Christ and in the process stir up a debate
on Romanism.
Pope, Pastor, and Paul
I thought some of you might be interested
in hearing from the pope's latest defender. The following commentaries
were written by the former mayor of Madison, Wisconsin, left-wing icon,
crypto-communist, 1960s student-riot leader Paul Soglin.
Birds
of
a Feather
While the devil's cause certainly does profit
by his strategy of feigned strife between his people, in the end, birds of
a demonic feather will flock together.
Forcing the Issue
Some time back, I placed in a number of
Wisconsin newspapers a short letter I wrote about the pope in which I took
the position that the pope—each pope—is the antichrist. (See my letter
below.) Since then, we have received many vitriolic, mocking letters and
e-mails from Roman Catholics. There have also been a number of letters to
the editor written in response to my remarks.
The Pope's Death: A
Defining Moment
As I write this, Pope John Paul II is near death.
Once he draws his last breath, a Vatican official will lightly tap three
times upon the deceased pontiff's forehead with a golden hammer and call
his name. Upon receiving no reply, the cardinal chamberlain will
remove John Paul's fisherman's ring and smash it.
The
Bride Betrayed
Is it so surprising that the world would play so fast and
loose with the gospel and its Author when so many "conservative"
Christians do likewise? Many of the latter take a stand against such evils
as abortion and homosexuality; but at the same time, they embrace and
invigorate ecumenism by yoking in ministry with Roman Catholics.
Christmas and the Christian
Once again, 'tis the season. Centuries ago, without any mandate from the
Scriptures and consequently no example from the apostolic church, the
Roman Catholic Church instituted a "holy day" known as the Mass
of Christ. Or do you say Christmas?
Reconquista,
Republicanism, and Rome
Several years ago, I visited
Northern Ireland and, for the first time, attained a clear understanding
of the situation in that distressed corner of the United Kingdom. As I
learned about the Troubles in Ulster, I saw parallels to an increasingly
dangerous situation in the southwest portion of the United States of
America.

Which
Way Reformation?
3/18/2007—Christ's
bride will be delivered and preserved from those men who would corrupt her
and prostitute her. But don't be so deceived as to think that as long as
you don't personally take part in the downgrade, which is fast becoming a
free fall, that you will be untouched by trouble if the Lord must
undertake reformation because men refuse to undertake it. 61
minutes.
The

11/5/2006—54 minutes.
A
Call to the Defense of the Gospel
PCC Camp Meeting 2006, 9/4/2006—Paul
was set for the defense of the gospel. He was fierce in the defense of the
gospel. He was relentless in the defense of the gospel. He was
uncompromised in the defense of the gospel. Paul is not here. The other
apostles are not here. The gospel defenders of the past, some of whom
sealed their testimony with their blood, are not here. We are here, and we
have been put in trust with the gospel. We must defend the gospel. 33
minutes.
Reformation
or Consequences
PCC Camp Meeting 2006, 9/3/2006—Speaking
as one who has for many years been deeply engaged in the fight against
unborn child killing, against New Sodom, and against other deadly evils, I
must tell you this morning that the enemies we contend with who are
without the church will eventually overwhelm us and we will go into a
Babylonian captivity. Why do I say that? Because while many evangelicals
are now willing to contribute at least something to the fight against such
evils as the sodomite agenda and unborn child killing, only a tiny
minority of us are willing to fight against the greatest enemy outside
Christ's church which ever reared up against God. Even a smaller fraction
of us are willing to fight against those within the body of Christ who are
aiding and encouraging that enemy. That enemy without the church is popery
and the enemies within are first, the open ecumenists and second, those
cowards who refuse to hold them accountable to the Word of God. 70
minutes.
If
the Pope Wins America,
What Will America Be?
PCC Camp Meeting 2006, 9/1/2006—Since
America's earliest days, she has been a thorn in the pope's side, and he
has been her enemy. This nation was settled and founded by Protestants who
held a faithfully biblical position regarding, of course, such crucial
doctrine as justification but also economics, morality, social policy, the
work ethic, criminal law, private property rights, God-ordained spheres of
authority, the separation of church and state. Those neo-evangelicals who
claim that the Roman Catholic Church is a friend and an ally in the
so-called culture wars are strengthening the hand of a tyrant who will
destroy our blood-bought liberty and our very nation—spiritually,
economically, and morally. 69 minutes.
The
Roman Catholic Church Is Not a Christian Church
PCC Preaching Conference 2006, 5/6/2006—The
history, government, doctrine, and dogma of the Roman Catholic Church
proves that the pope's church is not Christ's Church. 54 minutes.
The
Forgotten Four
12/25/2005—The
Lord's people must be warned by the folly of the false brethren who seek
to serve and please God by obeying the last six commandments while
forgetting the first four. Such man-centered, God-excluded theology and
works can do nothing to please God—quite the opposite. But far from
being warned by such folly, many Christians are busily committing it
themselves. 45 minutes.
Reformation
Day Special
10/31/2005—In
this "Heart of the Matter" program, Pastor Ian Brown and Pastor Ovadal discuss why our
reformers were burned and give encouragement to contend earnestly for the
faith against the Roman Catholic Church. 31
minutes.
The
Reformation Is Not a Family Feud
10/23/2005—This is the time of
year for some Protestant celebrity-types to strike a pose alongside the
Reformers. They get so close, you can almost smell the smoke of the
burning martyrs on them. But not quite. These would-be heirs of the
Reformation nail their safe, superficial thesis on the doors of their
radio studios or on their web sites; and in this age of full-blown
ecumenism, they bask in the praise that comes their way from star-struck
Protestants. They rightly talk about the "works salvation"
gospel of Romanism, but they do not reprove Rome's unfruitful works of
darkness. They turn the Reformation into a family feud. But why were our
Reformers burned? 49
minutes.
Blinded
by Hero Worship
6/12/2005—Today, I want to deal with four
errors of the false brethren—the modernists and apostates—which are
soundly condemned by conservative Christians. These are four gross sins
which are committed by the ungodly and profane which in turn are being fed
and fueled, strengthened and endorsed, permitted and promoted by the rank
hypocrisy of conservative Christians who openly embrace a milder form of
the very things they often condemn. We must be plain-spoken here. In many
instances, evangelical preachers, leaders, and personalities owe their
fame and fortune to their condemnation of those very things which they, in
turn, teach in a milder, more subtle form. 73 minutes.
Mariolatry
on Malta and in India
1/21/2004—In this "Heart of the Matter" program, Pastor Ovadal
interviews Dr. Kenneth Lawson on the obsession with Mary on Malta as well
as Catholicism and Hinduism together in Goa, India. 30 minutes.
Taizé:
A Confluence of Heresy
5/24/2005—In this 'Heart of the Matter' program, Pastor Ralph
Ovadal and Pastor David Brown discuss the growing and influential
ecumenical movement called Taizé. 30 minutes.
The
Pope's Death: A Defining Moment
4/3/2005—Pope John Paul II
masqueraded as a child of God, but his father was the devil. Simply put,
the pope was a pope. The nature of popes is the nature of antichrist
because they are the antichrist and the Roman Catholic Church is the woman
who rides the beast. But in spite of that, you will not hear high-profile,
popular evangelical—we should say neo-evangelical—Christian leaders say
any of those things about Pope John Paul II. Quite the opposite. 69
minutes.
When
This Pope Dies
3/23/2005—A Look at the Papacy and What to Expect When This Pope Dies: An Interview
with Former Roman Catholic Priest Richard Bennett. 29 minutes.
The
Bride Betrayed
1/9/2005—Faced with a
powerful, dangerous foe in the pro-death, sexual anarchist, statist
God-haters, most Christians have chosen to ignore their responsibility to
contend for the faith once delivered unto the saints and instead are
contending for a Christian worldview which was never delivered unto the
saints. And they are being willingly led by celebrity leaders who are
misusing them and abusing God's Word. 70 minutes.
The
Catholic Mary: An Ecumenical Bridge
11/24/2004—The Heart of the Matter Radio Broadcast. 30 minutes.
Beware
the Antichrists
10/31/2004—The vast
majority of Christians in America today are fixated on the very real danger posed from the God-hating, atheistic crowd; but
the constant message of the Scriptures is: Beware the impostor! Beware the
counterfeit! Beware the antichrist! 60 minutes.
See our resources page to
obtain messages from our 2004 Reformation Conference.
Rome
and Islam
7/13/2004—On this "Heart
of the Matter" program, Pastor Ovadal discusses Rome and Islam with
guest David Carson, pastor of Zion Tabernacle, Chester, England. 30
minutes.
The
Ecumenical Goddess
1/18/2004—Many devices have
been used in the drive to unite all religions into one religion which, in
the end, will be controlled by the Vatican. The Catholic "Virgin
Mary" is increasingly being used around the world - and will be much
more so in the future - as a catalyst for building bridges between Rome
and the world's religions. 82 minutes.
Christ
Is Not in Christmas
11/30/2003—Keep Christ in
Christmas? Why would we want to keep "Christ" in Christmas? Why
would we want our Lord's name connected to the word "mass"? Why
would we want to keep His name at the center of a pagan, Epicurean
festival? I wish Christ's name had nothing to do with that holiday. I wish
the pope never mentioned our Savior on that day. I wish I had never heard
heathens singing "Happy Birthday, Jesus" just before breaking
out the booze and plunging into a cesspool of hedonistic pleasure. 41
minutes.
This
Bride Is No Whore
11/2/2003—The Reformation
did not reform "the church." It split a false church. No true
church of Jesus Christ wallows in immorality, heresy, and idolatry like
the Roman Catholic Church did, does, and always will. The Reformation
leaders were pilgrims who came out of the Roman Church to join the true
Church of Jesus Christ. The greatest blessing of the Reformation, and the
legacy of those brave reformers, is that it broke Rome's iron grip on
civil power and established religious liberty in large areas of the
civilized world. 38 minutes.
Spiritual
Fornication in the Promiscuous American Church
10/5/2003—Physical
fornication is an abomination to God, a serious crime in His eyes, an act
which sows destruction and misery to the perpetrators. But how do you
think God views spiritual fornication? Does it not say something about our
spiritual maturity that most Christians are rightly shocked when
confronted with physical fornication in the Body of Christ; but in many
cases, when it comes to spiritual fornication, there is no shock or
outrage? There is no call for righting the wrong, for disciplining where
necessary; there is no call for repentance and restoration. 56 minutes.
If
This Were My Last Sermon
4/20/2003—If this were my
last sermon and the whole Bible-believing remnant in America could hear
it, what would I preach? If I could sound just one last warning of one
last evil in one last exhortation, what would I preach, of what would I
warn Christians in this age, at this hour, surrounded by this current
culture? 67 minutes.
Reformation
or Ruin
1/5/2003—The Church
is at a crossroads. We are on the brink of disaster. We stand poised on
the edge of a great black night of ruin and persecution. We are in danger
of being swallowed up by the enemies of God. What shall we do? How can we
avoid such a fate? How can we overcome the foe? 65 minutes.
