WCU's Beachhead Expands to Oregon
Lit drop and neighborhood picket will take place.

"Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good."
Romans 12:9

Today, Saturday, January 5, Wisconsin Christians United will be visiting the town of Oregon, Wisconsin. Our purpose will be to alert the townsfolk that one of the residents there is an accomplice to the abuse of children at the Department of Natural Resources nude beach on the Wisconsin River near Mazomanie.

John Glennon is the regional warden who directly oversees the operation of the Mazo nude beach. During the three years in which WCU has conducted ministry outreaches on the beach parking lot and walk-way, Warden Glennon has been openly hostile toward WCU Christians while showing great deference to the Mazo nudists. He has repeatedly refused to take action against nudists who have assaulted Christians while at the same time taking part in bringing a criminal charge against Pastor Ralph Ovadal for preaching the gospel on the beach parking lot. Pastor goes on trial February 1 for that charge.

Worst of all by far, Warden Glennon has repeatedly rebuffed the pleas of Christians to stop nudists from taking children to the nude beach. He has, in fact, gone out of his way to ensure the children get to the beach, often escorting them and their adult companions the entire one-mile walk to the beach.

Today WCU will deliver a flyer and an audio tape to Oregon homes. The flyer will, along with other information, contain pictures of children being taken to the nude beach, including some being escorted there by Warden Glennon. The audio tape contains a radio interview which Pastor Ovadal conducted with Judith Reisman, a world famous child advocate and author. The topic is nude beaches and child pornography.

At 3:15 P.M., WCU will gather in front of Warden Glennon's home to hold a picket.

"Today, we are bringing our defense of God's eternal precepts and the children of Mazo beach home to Warden John Glennon. Glennon has had three years to act like a principled man, and he failed to do so - that at the expense of innocent children. It is time that his family, friends, and neighbors knew what he really does for a living. Warden Glennon, like many DNR officials, has become a pimp for a sexually perverse elite who insist that they have a right to romp naked in front of children at taxpayer expense. Certainly some people will say that WCU is acting too `harshly' in our campaign to bring the battle of Mazo beach home to DNR officials. So be it. I prefer to save my sympathy for the children whose minds and bodies are being defiled because of the actions of men like Warden John Glennon. By the grace of God, WCU will continue to defend those children in obedience to our God who made them."
