The
Serpent's Hiss
7/2/2006—As
we talk about this Bible perversion, remember who is endorsing and selling
it. Then ask yourselves, where is the concern among the Lord's people?
Where is the outrage? Where is the zeal? Where are the contenders for the
faith? This translation and this situation exemplify the spirit of this
age. By discussing this matter, we can also review some important doctrine
and be warned of the devil's devices. 52 minutes.
Ye
That Tremble at His Word
3/19/06—Why were our reformers put
to death? Why were the Huguenots and our Waldensean brothers put to death?
Because they trembled at God's Word and refused to compromise it for pope
or king. They defended God's true Word against those who would pervert it
to propagate pernicious, false doctrines. Why will so few Christians today
raise their voices against perverted bible translations which propagate
false doctrine? Why do so many embrace those counterfeit bibles? The
modern bible translations act as the false prophets and false apostles of
our day, spewing out a corrupted message in the name of God. Those
translations get into churches which would never allow a flesh-and-blood
false prophet into the pulpit. God will bless those who tremble at His
Word today. 53 minutes.
Blinded
by Hero Worship
6/12/2005—Today, I want to deal with four
errors of the false brethren—the modernists and apostates—which are
soundly condemned by conservative Christians. These are four gross sins
which are committed by the ungodly and profane which in turn are being fed
and fueled, strengthened and endorsed, permitted and promoted by the rank
hypocrisy of conservative Christians who openly embrace a milder form of
the very things they often condemn. We must be plain-spoken here. In many
instances, evangelical preachers, leaders, and personalities owe their
fame and fortune to their condemnation of those very things which they, in
turn, teach in a milder, more subtle form. 73 minutes.
